CJT Driveway Sealcoating has been protecting driveways across southeastern New Hampshire since 1997. That first season, there was a short-lived partnership. Three months in, the season wrapped up, the partner landed a good winter job, and the two went separate ways. The buyout was simple. The direction was clear. CJT has been a sole proprietorship ever since, and that has never changed.
Every job is handled personally by the owner. No crews. No subcontractors. No sending someone else to figure it out. When you book with CJT, the same person who answers your call is the one showing up with the equipment, doing the crack filling, and applying the sealer. That level of hands-on attention comes from more than 28 seasons of doing this work, and a self-described touch of OCD that customers tend to appreciate once they see the finished result.
The process starts before a drop of sealer hits your driveway. Objects near or on the surface get cleared first, flower pots, portable basketball hoops, lawn ornaments, lights, anything that could get in the way. Then comes a thorough cleaning using weed whackers along the edges and inside cracks, a wire wheel for stubborn moss or buildup, and high-powered blowers to clear the entire surface. Smaller driveways get a backpack blower. Larger driveways and parking lots get a 13-horsepower walk-behind blower.
Crack filling comes next, and it is done right. A hot pour kettle melts blocks of Crafco Superflex 532 rubber at temperatures above 400 degrees. Once the cracks are sealed with that high-grade rubber, Black Beauty sandblasting sand gets coated over the top. It cooks into the rubber and adds durability that holds up through New England winters. After crack work is complete, every edge gets cut in with brushes ranging from 10 inches to 3 feet wide. Garage doors, walkways, flower beds, retaining walls, anything that should stay clean gets protected before spraying begins.
The sealer itself is a coal tar emulsion with a sand slurry mixed in for extra durability. A drying additive goes into every batch so the surface can be driven on the very next day. No waiting around. No guessing when it is ready.
CJT serves Rochester, Exeter, North Hampton, Barrington, Gonic, Farmington, New Durham, Strafford, Stratham, Dover, Somersworth, and Wakefield. If your driveway is in this part of New Hampshire and it needs sealcoating done the right way, this is the call to make.

What you can count on
Owner On Every Job
CJT is a sole proprietorship, so you get the owner doing the work every single time. No crews, no subcontractors, no surprises.
Thorough Prep Work
Every driveway gets weed-whacked, wire-wheeled, and blown clean before a drop of sealer is applied. Sealer only holds as long as the surface beneath it is clean.
Hot-Pour Crack Sealing
Cracks get filled with high-grade rubber melted above 400 degrees, then coated with blasting sand that cooks into the rubber for a tighter, longer-lasting seal.
Ready the Next Day
A drying additive is mixed into every batch of sealer so your driveway can handle traffic the very next morning, not days later.
Detail-Oriented by Nature
Garage doors, walkways, flower beds, and retaining walls all get masked off before spraying starts. What should stay clean, stays clean.
